A Brief Introduction:
This exhibition features a selection of rare foreign-language books in the Shanghai Library’s collection, including Flora of China, Illustrations of Chinese and Indian Plants, and The Natural History of Insects in China. We also invited 14 illustration artists from different cities around the world to share their perspectives on the four seasons. The exhibition will showcase over a hundred works by nearly 30 illustrators created over the course of a year under the theme of “Reading the Four Seasons”, based on their own lives and reading experiences.
