——2023 Shanghai Competitive Intelligence Forum

On October 18-20, 2023, the Shanghai Key Think Tank Forum – 2023 Shanghai Competitive Intelligence Forum was held at the Shanghai Library East. This forum was hosted by the Shanghai Library (Institute of Scientific and Technical Information of Shanghai). The Shanghai Competitive Intelligence Forum was founded in 2003, and it has been exactly 20 years since then. Since 2011, the Shanghai Competitive Intelligence Forum has been held every two years. The forum has always conducted in-depth and extensive discussions on hot topics such as information technology, emerging industries, cutting-edge/disruptive technologies, technological innovation, scientific frontiers, and competitive intelligence, attracting the attention of experts at home and abroad. After 20 years of development, it has become one of the most international and important professional exchange platforms in China's competitive intelligence industry, and together with the "Shanghai International Library Forum", it has become one of the dual brands of the Shanghai Library (Institute of Scientific and Technical Information of Shanghai).

The main forum consists of a keynote speech session, two theme forums on "Frontier Technology Innovation" and "Frontier Technology Integration", and a roundtable discussion on "Future Driven by Artificial Intelligence and Information". Nearly 20 speakers from China, the United States, Canada, Japan, and other countries were invited to share with everyone their ideas about such topics as scientific discovery, technological innovation, technological integration, industrial innovation, industrial integration, industrial transformation and competitive intelligence.

Finally, Chen Chao, Director of the Shanghai Library (Institute of Scientific and Technical Information of Shanghai), delivered a closing speech. While expressing gratitude to the speakers and other people participating in the event, he also pointed out that the intelligence community needs to further consider how to better provide high-quality scientific and technological information in the context of the rapid iteration of cutting-edge technology. Director Chen Chao chaired the keynote speech session.

2023 Shanghai Science and Technology Information Service Promotion Week

During the forum, Shanghai Library (Institute of Scientific and Technical Information of Shanghai), Shanghai Industry Information Development Alliance, Shanghai Society of Science and Technology Information, and Shanghai Emerging Industry Information Research Alliance jointly organized the "2023 Shanghai Science and Technology Information Service Promotion Week". The theme of this promotional week is "The Application of Advanced Technology in Scientific and Technological Information". The exhibition was held from 16-22, October in the exhibition area of the Shanghai Library East, showcasing the retrieval, storage, analysis and achievements of scientific and technological information.
