July 22, 2022 marks the 70th anniversary of the Shanghai Library.
After 70 years of development, the Shanghai Library now has two large spaces, the East Building and the main building on the Huaihai Road. The two buildings stand on either side of the Huangpu River, and they complement each other, making knowledge acquisitions at your fingertips and information sharing and communication more convenient.

This day 70 years ago, the Shanghai Library, organized by the Shanghai Cultural Relics Management Committee, was officially opened in the Shanghai People's Square Building.
