On July 15, 2022, New Age, New Forces - 2022 World Open Library Foundation Asia-Pacific Conference and the Annual Meeting of the Chinese Folio Community was held at the Shanghai Library East Building. This meeting was co-organized by the Shanghai Library (Institute of Scientific and Technical Information of Shanghai) and Chinese Alliance for Library Service Platform (in preparation).

 Dozens of library professionals from China, the United States, Canada, Italy and other countries conducted extensive and in-depth discussions on the theme of the conference, "New Age, New Forces". The conference was held both on-site and online, in the form of multi-platform live broadcasts such as Tencent Conference, ZOOM, and Bilibili Live.
