The "Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao University Library Alliance Newsletter" (a biannual journal) was launched on March, 2022. The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao University Library Alliance (hereinafter referred to as the Alliance) was established five years ago. This issue mainly reviews the Alliance’s work since its establishment and its work plan for 2022.
The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao University Library Alliance was established in June 2017, co-sponsored by the University of Macao, the Chinese University of Hong Kong and Sun Yat-sen University. The Alliance aims at promoting the cooperation among the major university libraries in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, and advocating resource building and sharing.
The alliance consists of 39 members (23 in Guangdong, 9 in Hong Kong and 7 in Macao). University of Macao Library, Chinese University of Hong Kong Library and Sun Yat-sen University Library are the permanent Board members, and the secretariat of the alliance is permanently located at the Sun Yat-sen University.
