Winter will always pass and spring will always come.

After the extraordinary 2020, the 6th Shanghai Get-together Writing Contest has finally arrived as scheduled. On the occasion of the World Book Day on April 23, we will begin soliciting articles from foreign readers in Shanghai and all over the world. The themes of the contest will still focus on arts and humanities, reading, cultural exchange and urban life.

In addition to the regular requirements, the contest this year has a new theme: "anti COVID-19". No matter where you are, in the face of crisis, human destiny is the same.

The solicitation for the articles will close on December 31, 2021. We welcome our friends in the world to write your own stories and share your feelings about China and Shanghai.
