According to the report of China Library Weekly, on Oct.14th, 2021, Zhejiang Province’s Platform for the common constructing and sharing of document & information resources was officially opened.
Through this platform, it is available for the readers to acquire the resources and services of public library service system of the whole Zhejiang Province, as long as the readers visit any library in Zhejiang Province. The platform realizes “readers enter one library, and you have the access to  the whole province’s resources”.
At present, more than 1.8 million e-books, over 300 million e-journal items, 1.37 million various audio and video, over 1.17 billion academic resources (including over 22.45 million academic dissertations and conference papers).
The construction of this platform effectively promotes the digital inquiry and utilization of ancient book resources and local special resources of the whole province. Since some precious ancient books and chorography have been processed digitally but they are not published, the platform constructs two modules: Database for Zhejiang Province’s historical literature digital resources and New Zhejiang Province Chorography. Database for Zhejiang Province’s historical literature digital resources is the integration platform of ancient literature of the whole province, on the basis of collections, ancient books and other related data of the public libraries in Zhejiang Province. New Zhejiang Province Chorography is based on the chorography of public libraries in Zhejiang Province and related data, fully showing the local literature of various regions. Over 480 kinds of digital data of chorography have been published by now.
