On Oct. 13-15, 2021 Shanghai Competitive Intelligence Forum was held at the Shanghai Library. This forum was hosted by the Shanghai Library (Institute of Scientific & Technical Information of Shanghai) and co-organized by the Shanghai Forefront Technology Development Research Center, Shanghai Society for Scientific & Technical Information and Competitive Intelligence Magazine. This is the seventh forum since 2003. The theme of this year’s forum was Endless Science Frontier & New Innovation Paradigm. It focused on how to use global technology innovation resources on the basis of competitive intelligence, in order to face the challenge of reshaping global innovation map and the next challenge of science and technology revolution, through the joint discussion between scientific communities, academic communities and intelligence communities. The forum attracted more than 200 participants from the government, high-end scientific institutions and enterprises. Shanghai Competitive Intelligence Forum has become one of the most international and most important professional communication platforms. Also, this forum, together with the Shanghai International Library Forum, has become the double brands of the Shanghai Library (Institute of Scientific & Technical Information of Shanghai).

This forum contained one keynote report, two sessions, one roundtable discussion, offline exhibitions and other activities. The forum invited near 20 members from domestic and foreign intelligence community, science and technology community and business community, including Shanghai WTO Affairs Consultation Center, the Competence Center Policy and Society of Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research, Department of Foreign Expert Services in Ministry of Science and Technology of China, Institute of Science and Development, Japan Science and Technology Agency, Fudan University, University of Science and Technology of China, the National Key Laboratory of Plant Molecular Genetics of Shanghai Institute of Plant Physiology and Ecology, China Top Think Tank Research Center of China National Petroleum Corporation and other well-known institutions and enterprises to share the newest science frontier, innovation paradigm and the role of competitive intelligence wherein.
