3. The service requires full reservation (there is no need to make a reservation for the 24-hour self-service book loan & return outside the library). Readers can use the WeChat official account of the Shanghai Library to enter the "Reservation for Admission" registration system and fill out the "Epidemiological Investigation Commitment" form. Elderly readers can make a reservation to enter the library by telephone at: 021-64455555 ext. 2000 (Monday to Sunday, 8:30-17:00).
4. Readers who have not made a reservation or who have made a reservation but have fever, cough, shortness of breath and other symptoms will be discouraged from entering the library.
5. Readers must present their "Admission Reservation Code" and “Shanghai QR Code (code posted by the Shanghai Library)" for verification after arriving at the library.
6. Return all books and periodicals that are overdue when you come to the library. During the normalization of epidemic prevention and control, the library will continue to exempt readers from overdue fees for book loans.
7. After entering the library, readers should abide by the rules of the library, wear masks all the way and avoid gatherings.
The library will adjust open services and measures according to the situation of epidemic prevention and control.
