"Advancing forward—Exhibition on Celebrities’ Manuscripts of Anti-epidemic Messages from All Walks of Life in 2020" opened on April 23, the 2020 World Book and Copyright Day, in the exhibition hall of the Shanghai Library. Readers can make an appointment to visit the exhibition online through the Shanghai Library WeChat public account. The accompanying catalogue "Advancing forward—Exhibition on Celebrities’ Manuscripts of Anti-epidemic Messages from All Walks of Life in 2020" is published by the Shanghai Science and Technology Literature Publishing House on the same day.
This exhibition will display 96 manuscripts of anti-epidemic messages written by famous people from all walks of life and 30 anti-epidemic objects with historical values donated by anti-epidemic frontline workers and organizations. The writers of anti-epidemic messages are scientists, famous medical experts, scholars, writers, translators, painters and calligraphers, people in the field of culture and sports, and TV and online anchors, etc. Supporting Hubei medical teams, doctors and nurses, journalists, and painters who are fighting on the anti-epidemic frontline provided the anti-epidemic objects for the exhibition.
All these messages and objects will enter the collection of the Shanghai Library, and the Shanghai Library will issue donation certificates.
