A three-member delegation led by Dr Maria L.C. Lau, deputy librarian of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, visited Shanghai Library on May 22, 2019.

Liu Wei, deputy director of Shanghai Library, exchanged ideas with Dr Lau on the digital services provided by both libraries.

Dr Liu expressed her gratitude to the experts of Shanghai Library for their contribution to the Chinese rare book project of CUHK library. Both sides hoped more cooperation can be achieved in the future on the sharing of digitized ancient books and other digital humanities services.

The delegation also had an insightful discussion with teams of  Internet center and digital humanities, followed by a tour of the genealogy reading room, innovation space, and new technology demo space.
