An online campaign about Chinese traditional culture was launched between January 23 and February 28 this year at the WeChat subscriptions accounts of domestic libraries including the Capital Library of China and Anhui Provincial Library. The campaign aimed to promote traditional Chinese culture including the stories of Chinese zodiac, spring couplets, Chinese New Year’s Eve and the lantern festival. It included reading themed stories, doing online quiz games and some interactive study experience. The campaign was participated widely and actively by netizens, who could share their experience via videos, pictures and texts with their friends. They could recite poems, calculate ages via Chinese zodiac and look into the secrets of family name. Winners of some games can get prizes.
