Exhibition on rare inscriptions of drumshaped stone blocks kicks off
An exhibition featuring rare inscriptions of drumshaped stone blocks kicked off on the afternoon of February 1, 2019, at Shanghai Library.
In the No. 1 Exhibition Hall, visitors can take a look at 25 exhibits of inscriptions of drumshaped stone blocks, many of which were discovered in 2018.
The exhibition is part of the library’s “Sprouting in Spring” seasonal project to promoting citizen reading. With the themes of Growing in Summer, Harvesting in Autumn and Storing in Winter for the other three seasons, the whole project features various events such as reading guidance, book exchanges, lectures and recitations to enrich local residents’ cultural life.
