| The 8th Influence Assessment on World-renowned Books from China was published on August 22, 2018. Based on the third-party data analysis, the assessment provided China’s publishers with the feedback of Chinese cultural products in overseas markets, becoming an influential report on China’s culture going global and revealing the large potential of Chinese culture in the global market. According to the assessment, a total of 871 types of English books published by 130 Chinese publishers were collected by overseas libraries in 2018, while the total number of English books collected by overseas libraries in 2018 was 1720. The figure reflected that the publication of English books by publishers on China’s mainland has taken shape in terms of talent with language proficiency, promotion of distribution channel and accumulation of quality content resources.
