Delegation of the Welsh Government Visits the Shanghai Library On March 13, an 18-person delegation of the Welsh government led by Mr. Ken Skates, Cabinet Secretary for Economy and Transport, paid a formal visit to the Shanghai Library. Mr. Chen Chao, Director of the Shanghai Library received the delegation and showed them around the Library. The two sides first introduced their respective libraries in the meeting room, and both looked forward to the extensive collaboration in the future.

Then, in the witness of Mr. Ken Skates, a Memorandum of Cooperation and Exchange was signed by Director Mr. Chen Chao and Mr. Rhodri Glyn Thomas, President of the National Library of Wales. According to the Memorandum, the two sides will, through the internet, share the digital collection of both libraries and develop further cooperation with each other in this area .
