Exhibition on the package design of ancient books kicks off
| A special exhibition on the package design of ancient books is being held at Shanghai Library. Since 2005, Shanghai Library has hosted the annual free exhibition for 14 years, each year with a different theme, providing a cultural feast for local resident. It’s the first time that the library has hosted an exhibition that focuses on the art of package design of ancient Chinese books, which from a special angle showcased the library’s abundant precious book collection. Meanwhile, it also offered an opportunity for local residents to have a systematic knowledge about the package design of ancient Chinese books. A series of cultural and creative products also made their debut at the exhibition, which runs from November 1 to 15. |
