Construction starts on Shanghai Library East
Construction on Shanghai Library East in Pudong’s Huamu area kicked off in the morning of September 27, 2017, and is expected to be completed by 2020. At the construction site, Tu Xiaoling, Shanghai Library’s AI robot librarian, and representatives of the readers and the library staff, jointly made the groundbreaking announcement. Three piling machines started working simultaneously, signaling the official commencement of the construction on Shanghai Library East. |
