| Mr. He Yi, deputy director of Shanghai Library, met with Prof. Jaap Kloosterman and his colleague from the Amsterdam-based International Institute of Social History (IISH), who came in the afternoon of May 12, in the company of Mr. Sha Qingqing of the Information Consultation and Research Center. |

Mr. Yu Jiang, head of the General Office, Ms. Wu Min, director of the Conference and Exhibition Center, Ms. Gong Jiawei, deputy director of the International Cooperation Division, were present at the meeting.
Both parties were enthusiastic about the possibility of working together to hold a document exhibition in 2018 in commemoration of the 200th birthday of Karl Marx. The Dutch visitors promised to supply some of their finest holdings to the exhibition. The meeting was followed by a tour of the library. |
