The 2016 Chinese City Cultural Competitiveness Report Published
The Communication University of China (CUC) recently issued the latest annual research report, ranking the Chinese cities based on cultural competitiveness. |
The weight of the urban cultural competitiveness has been increasingly growing among the indices assessing the national, urban and regional competitiveness, becoming one of the most important indicators for the level and potential of urban development. Different from the “urban creativity index” or “urban cultural industry development index”, the cultural competitiveness as a comprehensive assessment system has reflected the all-round capabilities and overall strength of the cultural development of a city. Initiating the concept of “runway model” for sharpening the urban cultural competitiveness, the 2016 Report put forward five dynamic factors representing the hard and soft power of cultural competitiveness, i.e. the cultural endowment, cultural economy, cultural administration, cultural potential and cultural opening-up, paving a way for theoretical assessment and improvement. https://mp.weixin.qq.com/s?__biz=MzAxNTEwMjcwMQ==&mid=2650981333&idx=1&sn=a23a12b3f3e5863a200380082eec3b15&chksm=807f4457b708cd41caf8cdf7c28f933f0a98a2c30b329b713276db8b1759611ac8e070b06ddd&mpshare=1&scene=1&srcid=01092AL9MVOwVo5DA6eU5JYG&pass_ticket=vt0DI2n7NEU0nKGlELKUbO3fYTM4c%2Faf6RbbCD78PBVJiwPRRKpqR0JalaYryHkH#rd
