Digital Library of China Cultural Center Goes Online
The Digital Library of China Cultural Center (http://library.ccweb.org) was launched on December 29th, 2016 in Beijing to provide services based on its diverse information resources. Available particularly to the overseas users now are more than 2TB of hi-fi digital resources, laying emphasis on areas of Chinese literature, history, culture and society; and including some 200 ancient books, 1,220 Chinese modern and contemporary publications, 20 latest journals, 300+ online pics, 1000+ audio and video clips, 62 types of web resources and 10 selected virtual exhibitions. The Digital Library is devised to function as a service portal to all the Chinese culture centers already set up abroad, and is expected to help enhance the national soft power by means of promotion of Chinese culture. |
