Exploring Iran at Shanghai Library

| THE Iranian cultural week titled “Exploring Iran” launched by the Iranian Consulate General in Shanghai was kicked off at Shanghai Library to showcase the panoramic mosaic of the ancient Persian and the modern Iranian culture. The Iranian Consulate Cultural Officer Mr. Behnam Azad addressed the opening ceremony which took place in the morning of June 6th, expressing keen anticipation of the further and broader cooperation of China and Iran, the two countries boasting splendid ancient civilizations, around today’s “One Belt One Road” Strategy. This event is expected to help the public understand more about Iran, as well as the importance of the China-Iran communication, sharing and collaboration, added by Mr. Wu Jianzhong, the Director of Shanghai Library. |
