　　Shanghai Library Cooperates with Alipay at Shanghai International Information Consumption Expo
On July 15-17, 2015, instructed by Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informationalization and Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce, and undertaken by Shanghai Information Services Association and Shanghai Software Industry Association, 2015 Shanghai International Information Consumption Expo was held at New International Exhibition Center.
Invited by Alipay - Zhejiang Ant Small & Micro Financial Services Group, Shanghai Library attended the Expo. A stall was reserved for Shanghai Library in Alibaba Comprehensive Sector in “The Internet + Life” display area. Focusing on “The Internet + Life” and rooted in people’s livelihood services, the stall aims to introduce to the local people the fruits and the most update measures of the cooperation between Shanghai Library and Alipay urban services. As one of the first Shanghai public services resided on Alipay urban service platform, Shanghai Library has become a benchmarking project for Alipay to march toward the urban services at various levels in different cities.

Shanghai Library’s independent stall took future library as the subject, and through paper books and the O2O interactions through the Weibo reading channel of Alipay platform, displayed to the readers a hybrid library. In the first day of the Expo, the stall received leaders of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informationalization. Zhong Huabin, manager of East China Big Customer Business Department of Zhejiang Ant Small & Micro Financial Services Group, introduced to vice curator of Shanghai Library Zhou Deming that, Alibaba’s focus in the coming few years will be on culture and medicine, and it hopes to enhance cooperation with Shanghai Library. Zhou Deming expressed that Shanghai Library would try to make some attempts at new services. Both parties have preliminarily reached agreement on enhancing the cooperation in user certification and credit.
For the past 3 days, nearly 3000 visitors have been received, and the Weibo pages of Alipay urban services have been viewed for more than 2600 times. To attend the Expo is a new chance for Shanghai Library to gain new users and to launch new reading services, which can provide references for Shanghai Library to attend selected exhibitions to publicize its services and to expand cooperation channels.
