How shall we deal with the books read, the stationeries no longer needed, and the toys not to be played with? On July 28, cosponsored by Guiyang Library and Qinxuebang, the summer flea market of books of Guiyang Library was formally “opened”, where more than 50 children gathered their old books and stationeries for sales or exchange. At 3 o’clock in the afternoon, the flea market was “opened”. In the hall of Guiyang Library, with cries of “This one is 2 Yuan” and “That one is 3 Yuan”, children were busy “peddling their goods”. Before that, Guiyang Library carried out the event of sharing painted stories with children in which volunteers would tell to the children through PPT the stories in Oh, wie schön ist Panama, Elmer on Stilts and another book. It is introduced that the flea market event is a part of the 2015 summer activities organized by the Children’s Department under Guiyang Library. All the activities are socially useful, and the props and materials necessary for the activities are supplied by Guiyang Library free of charge. |
