A Visit Paid by the Catholic University of Peru

| On May 28, 2015, Dr. Marcial Rubio Correa, President of the Catholic University of Peru and Mr. Ruben Tang Unzueta, Dean of the University’s Confucius Institute visited the Shanghai Library. On behalf of the Shanghai Library, Director Dr. WU Jianzhong welcomed the Peruvian guests and the two sides had a pleasant conversation. |
| President Marcial Rubio Correa expressed heartfelt gratitude to Director WU for the long-term support from the "Window of Shanghai" project of the Shanghai Library for all kinds of teaching and cultural activities to the Catholic University of Peru. Mr. Ruben Tang Unzueta said the Window’s content-rich and nicely bound books, various exhibitions as well as the "Shanghai Get-together" Contests are very popular among their students. Director WU said he was very pleased to hear these feedbacks, and stressed that offering greatly needed books and widely welcomed activities to the global partners is the top mission of the "Window of Shanghai" project. The two sides both pledged to carry out more in-depth cooperation in various aspects. After the talk, Director WU gave the guests a guided tour around the Shanghai Library. |
