Library Director of Chinese University of Hong Kong Pays a Visit to Shanghai Library

| On the afternoon of March 30, 2015, Ms. Louise Jones, Library Director of Chinese University of Hong Kong and her husband paid a visit to the Shanghai Library. Mr. YE Ruqiang, Chairman of Shanghai Library Governing Board and Administrative Office Chief Mr. Yu Jiang, on behalf of the Library, received and exchanged ideas with the guests. The mission of Ms. Jones’s visit is to understand the development of the Shanghai Library, and she also expressed the intention to establish cooperation and exchanges between the two libraries. Mr. YE introduced to the guests the main work and achievements of the Shanghai Library in recent years, and also hoped for a series of bilateral collaborations, such as interlibrary loan, staff exchanges, etc. After the talks, accompanied by Mr. YE, the guests toured around the Shanghai Library, and focused their visits in the New Technology Demo Center, the Innovation Space and the Catalogue Hall. |
