The New Library of the Zhenhai District Library Formally Opened

| The New library of the Zhenhai District Library (Zhenhai Peiju Library) constructed with the fund donated by Ms. Bao Suju, a sister of Mr. Bao Yugang, a patriot of Zhejiang and a representative of Ningbo local people, and her husband Zhang Peiming was formally opened on 10 April. The library is located in the core area of the Zhenhai new town, and is an important part of the Zhenhai City Cultural Center. It covers an area of nearly 7,000 m2, and is divided into 4 levels. The major layout consists of such functional areas as children’s reading room, circulation department, reader service center and auditorium. The life subject library aiming at constructing urban life and cultural leisure and creativities, multi-media center with audio-visual demo area, Yixuan Gallery with a rich collection of Chinese calligraphy and paintings, as well as the Local Historical Document Library with over 3,000 treasured books have all brought special cultural and artistic experience to readers.
