Notice on Theses Solicitation Issued by 2015 Annual Conference of Library Society of China
Recently, Library Society of China issued the “Notice on Theses Solicitation by 2015 Annual Conference of Library Society of China”. According to the Notice, 2015 Annual Conference of Library Society of China • Library Exhibition of China will be held in Guangzhou (Guangdong Province) in the second half of 2015. Therefore, the members of Library Society of China, library workers, and those who are concerned with library construction and development are welcomed to contribute academic theses. The general subject of these theses is “Library: A Power of Social Progress”, with specific subjects including population urbanization and library development; public library system innovation; MOOC and information quality education; research on library-related laws, regulations, policies, standards and codes; the cooperation between library and publishing house & bookseller; online systematic library service’s pushing of social progress; the inheritance and innovation of the culture of Chinese classics; local literature research and theoretical system construction; children’s reading promotion in public culture service system; research on the social responsibilities and sustainable development of libraries for minority groups; public library and the list of books for juveniles; college students’ reading promotion: relevance and innovation; the progress and challenge of disabled individuals’ reading service; and others. From May 5, 2015 to June 5, 2015, one can visit Library Society of China website to submit the electronic version of his thesis.
