The Donation Ceremony of "The 'Red' Violin - A Review of Violin Works by Chen Gang" Held at the Shanghai Library

| On March 4, 2015, the donation ceremony of "The 'Red' Violin - A Review of Violin Works by Chen Gang", the music album of violin works composed by Mr. Chen Gang and played by Mr. Pan Yinlin, was held at the Shanghai Library. At the ceremony, Mr. Chen Gang and Mr. Pan Yinlin recalled and introduced how they worked on and performed these remarkable pieces of music. These works influenced generations of Chinese music lovers and are now recorded into the album "The 'Red' Violin", which is filled with sunshine and strength. Dr. WU Jianzhong, Director of Shanghai Library, accepted the donation and appreciated the Equipment Service Department of Shanghai Tenglong Power Group for producing such a good music album. At the same time, he expressed the intention to put these 280 albums to the "Window of Shanghai" project as part of Chinese art treasures. They will be donated to the Window’s global partners and shared with the readers all over the world. |
