Opening Ceremony of "Octavio Paz Cultural Train" and Rogelio Cuéllar Photography Exhibition Held at Metro Line 10
| On January 15, 2015, the opening ceremony of "Octavio Paz Cultural Train" and Rogelio Cuéllar photography Exhibition was held at the Xintiandi Station of Metro Line 10. Mr. Rogelio Cuéllar, the Mexican photography master attended the ceremony and introduced to the guests his works of Mexican writers' portraits, including the photographic portrait of Mr. Octavio Paz, a Nobel Prize Laureate in Literature in 1990. After the ceremony, the guests took the "Octavio Paz Cultural Train" specially designed by Line 10 to the Shanghai Library Station. Dr. WU Jianzhong, Director of the Shanghai Library accepted, on behalf of the Library, the Selected Works of Octavio Paz and the photography collection of Mr. Rogelio Cuéllar gifted by the Consulate General of Mexico and said that the Library would let the local readers have access to the works of these two masters as soon as possible. |
