China Annual Book Industry Award Announced "Library of the Year" Award Goes to Zhangjiagang
| On January 7, 2014, China Annual Book Industry Award was announced in Beijing, and Zhangjiagang City Library was awarded the title of "2014 Library of the Year of China Annual Book Industry". China Book Industry Yearly Award event was established by the "Publisher" magazine and this is the 8th year. The Library of the Year award is given each year to 1 or 2 libraries, and this year, the Library of Heilongjiang Province was also granted the honor. In recent years, the Zhangjiagang City Library are among the first in conducting the cultural sharing project to villages and establishing a library (Farm House Library) in every village. It was also the first in the country to set up a book circulation center, realizing the full circulation and sharing of library materials between cities, towns and villages.
