Deputy Director Liu Wei Invited to Visit Taiwan
| On October 19-25, 2015, invited by Hong Shichang, Director of the Taipei Public Library, Liu Wei, Deputy Director of the Shanghai Library and Zhang Taiyi from the Property Management Center of the library, visited the Taipei Public Library, Taiwan Hu Shih Memorial Hall of the Taiwan Academia Sinica, Archives of the Institute of the Taiwan History Research, Taiwan University Library, Taiwan Normal University Library, Taichung National Library of Public Information and Hualien City Library. Through the visit and communication, they have acquired a new awareness and understanding of the library services and digital humanities resources in Taiwan in recent years, especially gaining a personal feeling and experience in the aspects of the full range of reader services, public cultural space construction and librarian’s professional dedication in Taiwan. |
