In the morning of June 24, 2014, the opening ceremony of the Second City Procuratorate Branch Library, a New Shanghai Central Library Branch was held at this library. Liu Xiaoqiu, Attorney General of the Second City Procuratorate Branch, Zeng Mian and Wang Liang, Deputy Attorney Generals, and Zhou Deming, deputy director of the Shanghai Library, as well as other employees from the Second City Procuratorate Branch and the Shanghai Library attended the ceremony. Deputy Director Zhou Deming and the Attorney General Liu Xiaoqiu jointly inaugurated the branch, and Deputy Attorney General Zeng Mian presided over the ceremony.

The Second City Procuratorate Branch Library is the 270th member the Shanghai Central Library System, and the ninth special library branch. This branch has established an online connection with the Central Library’s “One-Card-through” system and realized the “One-Card-through” services.
