At 10:00 am on July 2, 2014, Mr. Mseyed Mohammad Hadi Sobhani, Consul General General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Shanghai visited the Shanghai Library. Director Wu Jianzhong had a conversation with the guests in the VIP room on the second floor. Mr. Seyed Mohammad Hadi Sobhani said the purpose of his visit is to understand the current situation and development prospects of cooperation between the libraries of the two countries. Although he has just taken the post of Consul General, he hopes very much to promote the cultural exchange and development of both countries through his efforts. After the meeting, Director Wu Jianzhong accompanied the Consul General to have a tour of the Shanghai Library.
