At 14:00 on July 9, 2014, Ms. Tay Ai Cheng, Assistant Chief Executive & Chief Librarian, Public Libraries Group of the Singapore National Library Board and two of her colleagues visited the Shanghai Library. Mr. Zhou Deming, Deputy Director of the Shanghai Library gave his welcome to Ms. Tay Ai Cheng and etc. The two sides exchanged ideas about the library services, librarians’ career planning and virtual reference services in the library development. Ms. Tay Ai Cheng expressed her appreciation for the highly efficient management and innovative service approach of the Shanghai Library.
