April 23, 2014 is the 19th World Book Day. Esslinger, founder of the world's most prestigious strategic design company "frog design" released his new book in Chinese, Forward-looking Design. The DeTao master who is dedicated to "training tomorrow's design leaders" personally donated his new book in Chinese to the Shanghai Library. He Yi, Deputy Director of the Shanghai Library accepted the donations and issued a donation certificate to Esslinger.

A year ago, the "Shanghai Library Lectures” and "DeTao Group" jointly launched the "Shanghai Library Lectures • DeTao Master Forum". Based on the resources of more than a hundred world-class masters of the DeTao Group, this forum allows the general public to share the world-class creative ideas and design ideas directly at the “Shanghai Library Lectures”, a famous platform of public culture. It is DeTao group’s recognition and participation in the public cultural service concept, and is the innovation and improvement from "knowledge services" to "intelligence navigation" of the "Shanghai Library Lectures" on the occasion of its 35th anniversary. The audience of the "Shanghai Library Lectures" also listened to Master Esslinger’s speech "Adhering to Innovation and Preventing Plagiarism". Based on the contemporary industrial design patterns in China, The master gave an in-depth discussion of the design industry, and helped with the transition of the Chinese enterprises from manufacturing to creation, and received a good response.
