Photography of the Mexican Revolution Exhibition Held in the Shanghai Library
In the afternoon of February 24, 2014, the opening ceremony for the “Photography of the Mexican Revolution Exhibition” jointly organized by the Consulate General of Mexico in Shanghai and the Shanghai Library was held in the catalog hall of the Shanghai library. This photography exhibition shows various people’s experiences in the Mexican Revolution and reconstructs in great detail its chronological process. Mr. Gabriel Terres, Deputy Consul General and Wu Jianzhong, Director of the Shanghai Library gave speeches at the opening ceremony. On behalf of the Shanghai Library, Dr. Wu Jianzhong accepted a photo taken from the works on display at the exhibition given as a present by the Consulate General of Mexico. Many warm-hearted readers also attended the opening ceremony and they received postcards specially designed for the exhibition and autographed by Mr. Gabriel Terres. The exhibition will last two weeks and is open free to the general public.
