On October 31, Wu Jianzhong, Director of the Shanghai Library held a conversation with Gary Davies, Director, European & External Affairs and Ms. Sun Qing, Chief Representative of Welsh government in Shanghai. The purpose of Mr. Davies’s visit is to strengthen the cooperation and communication between libraries is Wales and the Shanghai Library. Director Wu Jianzhong gave three suggestions on the future cooperation: signing a cooperation memorandum, holding digital picture exhibitions in both libraries and organizing library professional meetings. The two sides have planned to sign a cooperation memorandum on March next year and develop a series of cooperation projects.
