Introduction
In the past 20 years, China experienced urbanization faster than any other countries. After this stage, it is time for us to consider and evaluate the following questions: what can bring benefits to the mankind, what are harmful to human survival and what are ruthless exploitation of the nature? Cities must learn from previous mistakes. Citizens must also realize that we need to create a harmonious urbanization. At this lecture, Professor Schmidt will bring the audience a discussion on the city development.
