In order to promote the continuous development of new technologies and enhance the supporting and leading role of science and technology information in strategic emerging industries, organized by the Shanghai Library and the Institute of Science and Technology and jointly held by the Shanghai Industry Information Development Consortium, the Shanghai Science and Technology Information Society, Shanghai Emerging Industries Information Research Consortium, the "2014 Shanghai Science and Technology Information Services Awareness Week" is launched on October 21-27 at the Shanghai Library.
The Awareness Week activities mainly consists of exhibitions and lectures, including conducting a series of exhibition activities on the theme "Forefront  Technology in Smart Life: Health Internet of Things", which involves health mobile terminals, big data management, intelligent home life and intelligent service robots, and reveals the cutting-edge technology of health Internet of Things from perspectives of health data acquisition equipment, management methods, healthy living environment and services; inviting experts from the Shanghai Institute of Science, Shanghai Science and Technology University, Shanghai University, Shanghai Shenteng information Technology Co., Ltd. to give the public high-end professional and academic lectures, including "Progress in the Research of Robots Assisting the Old and Disabled People", "Development Status quo and Trends of Health Mobile Terminals", "Development Status quo and Trends of Smart Home at Home and Abroad"," Development Status quo and Trends of Health Big Data at Home and Abroad", "Development Status quo and Trends of Smart Robot Services for the Aged People".
