On September 3rd 2013, a three-person delegation led by Mr. Rolando Garcia-Alonso, Consul General of Mexico in Shanghai paid a visit to the Shanghai Library and donated 93 titles of books on behalf of the Mexican Consulate General. At the same time, 750 titles of books were donated to the Library in the name of Dr. Maria Cruz Alonso, Asia-Pacific Chief of the General Society of Authors and Publishers of Spain. Dr. Wu Jianzhong, Director of the Shanghai Library met with and expressed appreciations to the donators on half of the Library. After the ceremony, the guests experienced the Library’s “New Reading Demo Center” and “Innovation Space” in company with Dr. Wu.
