The "Window of Shanghai" E-book Service Launched at the University of Auckland Library

On the afternoon of August 19, 2013, the Shanghai Library "Window of Shanghai" e-book service opening ceremony was held at the University of Auckland Library. Wu Jianzhong, Director of the Shanghai Library, Ms. Janet Copsey, Director of the University of Auckland Library, Long Yanping, Consul of the Chinese Consulate General in Auckland attended the ceremony and delivered speeches respectively. Besides librarians of the University of Auckland Library, leaders from the Confucius Institute, professors from the Department of Economics, professors and Ph. D candidates of film studies attended the ceremony. Mr. Lin Haiqing from the University of Auckland Library gave a demonstration on how to access the e-book database.
As of August 2013, the "Window of Shanghai" has launched e-book service at 15 partner libraries all over the world, including the University of Auckland Library. |
