Introduction Soundtrack is the theme music that appears in the movie. It often accompanies the plot development and the emotions of scenes, thus achieving the effect of heightening the atmosphere. Mark Chait’s journey began in Africa, through Australia, Europe, the U.S. and China, making his works to cover a variety of musical genres and become popular in all the continents.
The lecture is given by Professor Mark Chait, a DeTao master of film and television arts and music. He will take the audience to listen to the sound of light and shadow in the world of music.
About the Speaker Mark Chait is a composer, He won an Emmy and three Telly Awards, and has extraordinary accomplishments on piano and violin. He has given performances to countless audiences in the world, including the royal family of Swaziland and the White House. He was born in Cape Town, South Africa, and became a pianist and violinist under the influence of classical music. He was awarded the prestigious Australian Music Examinations Board (AMEB) scholarship, Sydney, Australia. After moving to New York, Mark Chait began working on composing music for film, and with beautiful and magnificent orchestral melodies, he has become a world-renowned composer.
