Introduction
In 2012, one of the most popular events in the Chinese literary circle was "Mo Yan won Nobel Prize for Literature". Reading the works of Mo Yan, readers will have unlimited reverie, and various reviews are pouring in, some positive and others negative. It can be said that form the moment Mo Yan’s novels entered into people's reading area, they are filled with differences and controversies, and such controversies have never stopped, and has continued ever since.
This event will invite Professor Yang Yang, Chief Editor of A Mo Yan Reader (newly published by the East China Normal University Press) to bring you a taste of Mo Yan's literary world. We hope his interpretation can help more readers have an in-depth understanding of Mo Yan’s works.
