On November 1st, 2013, Mr. Eric Wakin, Director of Library & Archives of Hoover Institution, Stanford University, and Mr. Hsiao-ting LIN, Curator of the East Asian Collection, visited the Shanghai Library. The Library vice directors Mr. HE Yi and Mr. ZHOU Deming received and held talks with the U.S. guests. The two sides exchanged ideas on the cooperation potential in archives, and wished to fulfill this potential in the near future. After the meeting, the guests had a look around the Library in company with Mr. HE. The staff from the International Cooperation Division of the Shanghai Library were present.
