On September 30, 2013, in celebration of the 64th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, a photo exhibition entitled “Beautiful China”, was jointly organized by the Universitatea 'Andrei Saguna' Constanta and the Chinese Embassy in Romania. This Constanta University, under the leadership of its rector Mr. Aurel PAPARI, is one of the most important “Window of Shanghai” partners for the Shanghai Library in eastern Europe, The photo exhibition attracted plenty of local students and helped to promote the Chinese culture and the friendship between the people of the two countries.

The Shanghai Library initiated the “Window of Shanghai” partnership with the Universitatea 'Andrei Saguna' Constanta in 2008, and has been maintaining positive cooperation and friendship since then.
