On October 4, 2012, Dr. WU Jianzhong, director of the Shanghai Library attended “Library 2.012” worldwide virtual conference. The 2-day conference was held by School of Library and Information Science of San José State University, U.S. There were 150 presentation sessions and 11 keynote addresses from all over the world this year. Every keynote speakers had a special virtual meeting room so that attendees could connect and converse with the presenters. The topic of Dr. WU’s keynote speech was “Library as a Source of Creativity, the Shanghai Experience”. 33 attendees from 8 countries/regions participated in his speech.
