Mr. Edgar Savisaar, the Mayor of Tallinn Estonia, leading a three-people delegation, visited the Shanghai Library on Sept 19th, 2011, in the company of Mr. TAN Huiming, council member of Shanghai People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries. After Dr. WU Jianzhong, director of the Shanghai Library, showed the delegation around the library, an initial decision was made to hold a Jinshan Peasant Painting Exhibition in the Tallinn Public Library during next year’s Spring Festival. Taking the exhibition as a first step, both sides hoped for further cultural exchange and cooperation in the future.
