A series of document exhibitions in commemoration of the 100th Anniversary of the ‘Xinhai Revolution’ (a.k.a. the 1911 Revolution) are being held in the Modern Document Reading Room on the first floor of the Shanghai Library.

The exhibitions, divided into 10 episodes with different themes and contents on a semi-month basis until the end of October, display a diversity of materials documenting the earthshaking affair a century ago. It aims to deepen the public understanding of the Revolution and to provide first-hand materials to facilitate the related academic researches.
