On February 23, 2009, Mrs. Beatrice Camp, the newly appointed U.S. Consul General in Shanghai paid a visit to Shanghai Library and was received by Dr. Wu Jianzhong, the director. The two parties held a small introductory talk on library collection and service, which was followed by a book donation and library tour.
