The books of "Window of Shanghai" are put on grand display from 11th September to 27th September, 2009 as the opening of "Window of Shanghai" program in Osaka Prefectural Central Library, Japan (http://www.library.pref.osaka.jp/central/index3.htm). After the exhibition, the 614 books will be shelved in the corner for ¡°Window of Shanghai¡± on the 4th floor of "Humanities Room" of the library.

There are two main libraries in Osaka on prefectural level. While the Nakanoshima Library is the special library for Osaka materials and business services, the Central library serves as the general library for the broader public. Osaka is another city with which Shanghai took city partnership in Japan before Nagasaki Prefecture, where "Window of Shanghai" was set up back in 2006.
